"Portraiture is about much more than simply capturing a physical likeness. I believe a good portrait should also convey something of the sitter's character as understood by the artist, and be able to hold a moment in time. I follow this philosophy in my practice by working from life wherever possible, getting to know clients and making numerous quick sketches before working on a final portrait."
Portraiture in pencil, charcoal, and oil paint made from life or from photographs. Available in a range of styles, from looser, more expressive sketches, to naturalistic or classical portraits.
